Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of OnTheDot Syracuse Tree Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our tree care services in Syracuse, UT and surrounding areas.

Services Provided

OnTheDot Syracuse Tree Services provides professional tree care services including but not limited to:

  • Tree removal and cutting
  • Tree trimming and pruning
  • Stump grinding and removal
  • Emergency tree services
  • Land and lot clearing
  • Tree health assessment and maintenance
  • Arborist consulting
  • Shrub and hedge trimming

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. All services are subject to availability and our professional assessment of safety and feasibility.

Estimates and Pricing

All quotes and estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Pricing may vary based on project scope, site conditions, tree size, accessibility, and other factors that may not be apparent during the initial assessment.

We will notify you of any changes to the quoted price before beginning work. Additional charges may apply if conditions differ from those present during the initial estimate.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required for larger projects.

If payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest on the outstanding balance at a rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is lower.

Scheduling and Cancellations

We will make every effort to complete work on the scheduled date, but weather conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances may require rescheduling. We will notify you as soon as possible if changes are necessary.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Property Access and Preparation

You are responsible for ensuring clear access to the work area and for removing any obstacles, vehicles, or personal property that may interfere with our work. You must also ensure that pets are secured during our visit.

If site conditions prevent us from safely completing the work, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel the service. You will be notified of any such issues.

Permits and Regulations

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits required for tree work on your property. We can provide guidance on local regulations, but the responsibility for compliance with local ordinances rests with the property owner.

In some cases, we may assist with permit applications for an additional fee.

Liability and Insurance

OnTheDot Syracuse Tree Services carries general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance for all employees. We take every precaution to protect your property during our work.

While we exercise professional care, trees and tree work can be unpredictable. We are not liable for damage to underground utilities, septic systems, or other hidden structures unless you have provided us with their exact locations prior to work beginning.

We are not responsible for damage to lawns, landscaping, or driveways caused by necessary equipment access, though we make every effort to minimize such impact.

Emergency Services

Emergency tree services are provided on a best-effort basis and are subject to availability, weather conditions, and safety considerations. Emergency service rates may differ from standard pricing.

In emergency situations involving downed power lines or immediate danger, please contact your local utility company or emergency services first.

Warranty and Guarantees

We guarantee that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. However, we cannot guarantee the health, survival, or growth of any tree, as these are affected by many factors beyond our control including weather, disease, insects, and soil conditions.

Any concerns about completed work must be reported within 7 days of service completion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnTheDot Syracuse Tree Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services in question.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
